Application Design Codes
The building described in these calculations was designed according to the lastest Buildings and Design Codes that have been referred to:
1. NF-Eurocode 2 - Design of concrete structures Part1-1
2. NF-Eurocode 5 - Design of timber structures Part1-1

Required Design
1. All material (concrete-wood) is provided by client
2. The main frame: wood truss beams (over 20m length) and concrete columns are connectioned to each other using shear type connection
3. The lateral stability of the building is provided through the frame action of the main frames
4. The longitudinal stability of the building is provided through struts & purlins action of the building. However, added braces under purlins also make the truss systems more stable.
