Strength limit states related to human and/or structural safety. For simplification,
the states prior to the collapse of the structure are referred to as the strength limit states.
Need to check:
* Static unbalance (stability in position) of the structure or any part of the structure recognized as a rigid body (EQU)
* Internal damage or excessive deformation of the structure or structural part (STR)
* Excessive deterioration or deformation of the ground (GEO)
* Fatigue damage of structure or parts of structure (FAT)
Limit state related to the function of the structure or structural parts during usage time, human comfort, the external appearance of the building.
* Deformation: affect the appearance; comfort for human use, structural performance (including machine function), damage to building finishes or non-structural parts
* Vibration: make people uncomfortable, limit the effectiveness of the structure
* Damage that can adversely affect the external appearance, durability and usability of the structure
Dear readers! Thanks for visiting! Because of a wide range of knowledge, these are some documents that I provide to help those are finding about general timber calculation.
